When parents need to take their children for blood work, it can be stressful. When Rebecca Schorr had to take her son, who is on the autism scale and fearful of needles, to Health Network Laboratories (HNL) for blood work she was wary.
Fortunately, HNL’s phlebotomist was able to ease her son’s nerves and draw blood. In this video, Rebecca and her son, Ben, talk about the experience and offer some insight for parents with children who don’t like needles.
Thank you to everyone for coming out to celebrate the opening of our new patient blood draw site located inside South Mountain Pharmacy. The event was a success!
